The KentonXtreme Eco Challenge is an action packed weekend which will be based at the scenic Homewoods Restaurant where a Beer Garden, food, family fun and entertainment is provided.
Registration opens 9am Sat at Homewoods Restaurant and at 7am on Sunday
The 2010 Program
- Rotary Seafood Xtreme - Friday 14th May
Always a sell-out, you'll have to be first in line to secure your tickets for next year. Awesome food, fellowship and an awesome evening with the Rotarians at the Kenton Town Hall.
- Pam Golding Downwind Surf Ski race - Saturday 15th May - starts 11h30
A 20km - 25km downwind race with a flexible start location (Port Alfred / Boknes) and the finish in the Kariega River, Kenton-on-Sea. Race briefing at Homewoods at 10am
- KentonXtreme Eco Challenge Multisport Event - Saturday 15th May - starts 14h30
A fun multisport off-road event for individuals or teams of up to 3 entrants. Event kicks off with a 1km tide assisted swim OR 2km river paddle, then follows a 15km MTB ride and a 4km Beach Run.
- Build-IT Beach Soccer Tournament - starts 12h00
A closed fun beach soccer tournament for 8 local teams.

Super 14 Rugby and entertainment
Stick around and enjoy the late afternoon and evening at the Homewoods Restaurant for a beach party of note, which is likely to become Xtreme!!!

For the not so Xtreme, a gentle 5km fun run / walk suitable for the whole family
- Homewoods 10km Xtreme Beach Run - Sunday 16th May - starts 8h30
Not for the feint hearted. An awesome yet challenging and exciting beach run from Kenton, across the Kariega River (swim, wade or ferry) to Kasouga and back.

Normal Entries are open and will close 1 week before the event. Late Entries will encur a penalty and will be taken over the weekend. Due to advance planning, Late entrants are excluded from any participant give-aways at the event (ie t-shirts, goody bags etc).
