Can you handle Xtreme ?

The KentonXtreme Eco Challenge is an action packed weekend which will be based from the scenic Homewoods Restaurant where a Beer Garden, food, family fun and entertainment is provided.

The 2011 Program

• Rotary Seafood Xtreme - Friday 27^th May
Always a sell-out, you'll have to be first in line to secure your tickets. Awesome food, fellowship and an awesome evening with the Rotarians at the Kenton Town Hall.


• Sunshine Coast SPAR Triathlon - Saturday - starts 14h00
A fun multisport off-road event for individuals or teams of up to 3 entrants. Event kicks off with a 750m tide assisted swim, then follows a 25km MTB ride and a 4km Beach Run.


• 5-a-side Beach Touch Rugby Tournament

• Homewoods Beach Party / Seafood Festival
Stick around and enjoy the late afternoon and evening at the Homewoods Restaurant for a beach party of note, which is likely to become Xtreme!!! Super Rugby also shown on the big screen.


• 53.2km Build-it Hi-Tec Security Coastal MTB Race - Sunday - starts 08h00
An exciting Xtreme Mountain Bike ride which will take cyclists through a variety of local challenges.


• 20km Build-it Hi-Tec Security Coastal MTB Race - Sunday - starts 08h55
Not as Xtreme as the big brother, but equally as exciting.


• 10km Pam Golding Kenton Xtreme Beach Run - Sunday - starts 08h50
Not for the feint hearted. An awesome yet challenging and exciting beach run from Kenton, over the Kariega River towards Kasouga and back, turning at the Eco Estate boardwalk.


• Beach Soccer Tournament - starts 10h00
A closed fun beach soccer tournament for 5-a-side teams selected from the local area.


• Rotary 5km Fun Beach Walk - Sunday - starts 11h30
For the not so Xtreme, a gentle 5km fun beach walk suitable for the whole family

Take Route 72 and experiece the beauty of our country along the magical Sunshine Coast.

Bring your family, meet your friends and challenge your colleagues to this fun yet Xtreme multisport festival.

Normal Entries are open and will close on Monday 23rd with online late entries closing on Wed 25th to allow payments to clear. A late entry fee applies to all entries received after 25th May. Entries on the day at the event welcome.
